Join the Journey
Our fun-filled day starts in the morning at the University of Toronto's Varsity Stadium. Walk or run 1 km, 3 km, or 5 km to Carry The Fire for cancer research. All routes will pass by Princess Margaret Cancer Centre with pit-stops and live entertainment along the way. Join us for a day of community, family, and fun. Children and dogs are encouraged to join!

Pre-event Kit Pick Up
Participants are encouraged to pick up their kit before the event on:
Friday, June 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
at Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Office: 700 University Ave, 4th Floor, Toronto, ON, M5G 1Z5
Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
at University of Toronto, Varsity Stadium - 299 Bloor Street West, Toronto, ON, M5S 0A9
Participants can also pick up their kits on Event Day at U of T Varsity Stadium between 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

No problem! Please make sure that the individual(s) you are picking up for have completed Online Check-In.

9:15 am - Opening Ceremonies

In-Person Registration Fee Details:
- June 16, 2025 - February 5, 2026: $25
- February 6, 2026 - April 30, 2026: $35
- May 1, 2026 until June 21, 2026 (Event Day): $45
Note: Children 12 and under can register for free and are not required to meet the minimum fundraising amount.
Fundraising Minimum: $125 per Registered Participant
When you register for the Journey, you are committing to a fundraising mission first, and a walk or run second. Whether you’re joining us in-person, or virtually, your fundraising efforts directly support life-saving cancer research at The Princess Margaret.

Join the Journey Virtually!
There’s also the option to participate virtually in your neighbourhood if you cannot attend the event. No matter how you participate, you will be making a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients here in Canada and around the world. As a Virtual participant, you can walk or run in your own community while staying connected with our Journey community.

*Fundraising levels must be reached no later than Friday, June 12, 2026 in order to qualify and receive incentives and Event Kit in the mail. All items are mailed to the address given when you registered unless otherwise specified. We will do our best to ensure you receive your items before event day, however some addresses may require additional time to reach through our shipping provider.
